In the heart of nature's most pristine sanctuary, the Sacred Grounds Festival unfurls its wings once a year, creating an oasis where the boundaries between Music, Arts, Science, Philosophy, and Wellness dissolve into a harmonious confluence.
This unique gathering is more than a festival; it is a pilgrimage for the soul, attracting the most brilliant minds and hearts from across the globe—artists, scientists, philosophers, philanthropists, spiritual gurus, and health and wellness professionals—all united in their quest for joy, adventure, and solutions to the grand challenges facing humanity.
Sacred Grounds is not just a festival; it's a testament to the power of collective imagination, compassion, and action. It's an invitation to embark on a journey of discovery, connection, and enlightenment.
Sacred Grounds is being produced to raise awareness and fund solutions to the alarming threat of Soil Extinction. "Soil is our life, our very body. And if we forsake soil, in many ways, we forsake the planet."

AUGUST 16-17 IN WYOMING. STAY TUNED FOR PRESS RELEASE.
No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat will headline this year’s festival, with additional sets from J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Blur, Ice Spice, Jhené Aiko, Lil Uzi Vert, Justice, Bleachers and more.
You’ll have to hang time: Coachella set times often aren’t released until the week of the festival—and in some cases not until the day before it. Check back here in April and we’ll make sure to have the set times posted once they’re available.
There is one exception: The 21-plus Heineken House has already release its set times, which you’ll find farther down this page.
Like the schedule, the festival map tends to be released just before the gates open. Recent editions had made some meaningful changes to accommodate the increased crowd capacity (notably moving the Sahara tent). The 2022 and 2023 maps looked pretty similar to previous, pre-2020 editions, with the exception of the Yuma tent moving slightly to the north.
This year promises some pretty notable changes, though, starting with the Sahara tent’s move (again) from the southwest corner of the grounds to an adjacent field roughly south of the Do LaB stage. In the Sahara tent’s former footprint, you’ll now find Quasar, a new open-air stage that’ll feature three-to-four-hour sets from DJs.
Allow us to share our history in the making. Taking you back to 2003 West Yellowstone MT, Bill sat with his daughter overviewing the very ground this event will be held and said lets do something crazy! Are you in to leaving your mark on this life? At the young age of 21, Katrina said I'm in 100%. Within a few months the first show "Fat Bottom Rally" was put together. From there the family was hooked and went on to do the next year even bigger and better. Nationally known acts were booked and one heck of a show was put on. The second Annual show had VH1 here videoing Dee Snider for all Roads Lead to the Chip. It was then a passion was born that would never leave their minds.
Fast forward to 2012, so many things in life happened to put these shows on hold. Obstacles you wouldn't imagine most families to endure. Bill Oldroyd attends the Snowmobile Expo, during the Octane Freestyle show. He bids ten times the value on a helmet where all proceeds go to a local injured rider.
After the auction he and Tyler Johnson, throw ideas back and forth in creating a Sturgis on Snow, give a reason for people to come back to West Yellowstone MT. Combine the excitement of freestyle and concerts. Discussion continues over the years with the parties, taking us to October 2013 Bill and his daughter Katrina have what will be their last business meeting, unknown at the time. The idea of concerts and freestyle are again discussed with the concept of making a new dream together. Two days later Bill tragically lost his life. Reunited only months later, Expo of 2014 Katrina and Tyler decide it's time we are making this dream a reality! History is in the makings, and will be done in Wild Bill's honor! Every great thing starts with an idea, with passion & dedication the idea will become a reality!
During 2014 and 2015 Wild Bill Productions puts on two shows that will never be forgotten! We were able to give back to local sports teams and a dear family who have endured so much with the health of their little girl. To us that is what this is all about, the feeling of giving to others is like a fire that burns within us! We plan to continue paying it forward and use this dream to help those in need as Bill always did! We are so Excited to have the chance to move our show to the summer air. So we ask you to come enjoy Yellowstone County, ride horses, go back in time on a wagon ride simply take in that Montana air.
It started with delayed speech, which was believed to be Verbal Apraxia. Alright, we can deal with that. The little guy is gonna have a harder time communicating than others, but that’s ok. He’s so smart and always has a way of knowing what a person needs to understand him, whether it be words with gestures, or maybe pointing to things - no problem, we got this.
Then we began noticing the eye rolls, I’m not completely sure when exactly this started, as we thought he was being silly and rolling his eyes at us. Shortly before starting kindergarten, his parents took him to the doctor to have it checked out… just in case, fully assuming it would be nothing.
Our sweet, loving grandson Michael was 5 years old when he was taken to the neurologist for his first EEG and it wasn't nothing, it was absence seizures–a brief sudden loss of consciousness.
The doctors began treating him with epilepsy medication. After about six months, when the medication wasn’t working, they gave him stronger medication. It didn’t help either, in fact the seizures seemed to worsen. At this time, they did a 24-hour EEG to see how many seizures Michael was having. It only took six hours to determine that he was having hundreds of absence seizures a day. His doctors grew quite concerned and thought it best to do some genetic testing.
Many tests were ordered and our happy, trusting little boy was poked and prodded for months, until his genetic tests results revealed a mutation in his TPP1 gene, indicating the possibility he had CLN2 Batten Disease. Batten Disease is a rare neurodegenerative genetic disorder with no known cure, and a life expectancy of late teens to early 20s. Those years are filled with seizures, dementia, loss of sight, mobility and speech.
Tests were immediately ordered for the rest of the family, including Michael’s four-year-old sister and 20-month-old brother. Talia’s results were good. Baby Oliver’s however, were not. Though this news devastated us to the core, we refuse to give up hope. We are exploring every possible treatment option to make our young and vulnerable boys’ lives as full as we can, for as long as we can.
Currently, there is only one FDA-approved treatment that involves receiving infusions of an enzyme replacement therapy called cerliponase alfa (Brineura®) every two weeks. Providers inject the medicine directly into the fluid surrounding the child’s brain. It can slow or even stop the loss of the ability to walk and talk. However, it does not slow down other symptoms of the disorder.
This procedure is done at Seattle’s Children's Hospital, a remarkable hospital on the other side of the state from where the boys and their entire support system live. If this procedure gives these boys even the slightest chance of holding on to their childhood for even a day longer, how could we not take it, even with the potential risks and the need to travel to Seattle twice a month for the foreseeable future?
Our greatest hope is that it will stall progression of the disease until other viable treatment options or a cure are available. Currently, there are other clinical trials and stem cell research in progress in both the United States and other countries.
